Biff Loman

"He walked away.....How the hell did ever get the idea I was a salesman for him! And the he gave me one look and- I realised what a ridiculous lie my whole life has been" Pg 82

This is a point where Biff woke up from his dream. The dream or so called illusion created by his father. His whole family has told him that he was a salesman, however the ironic truth is that he wasn't. He started to realise the truth, and noticed that he was blinded by the lies told in his house. Even though it seems that it is foolish that he realised the truth so lately, but it is always better then not knowing. I think a start is better than never. In contrast to Biff his family-especially Willy- seems idealistic in different ways. Hence, relatively Biff is a more realistic person.
